I felt I was doing things prematurely with S in the beginning. and it has a been a learning process the last few months. I am learning. We met in April and I really liked him, but I was very conflicted about my Christian faith and how that would affect a relationship with a non-Christian. I ultimately ended things with him. He was one of the best men I have ever met and was more kind and gentlemanly than some Christian men I have met, so I sent him a text. I took him out last Friday for a nice meal and discovered we still have feelings for each other. He asked me to be his girlfriend, and I decided to give it a shot.
S is a really kind person and asks difficult questions but they were pivotal for us. I was ready to hide. I decided not to hide and answered him honestly. He is truly wonderful. He has such compassion. He is not self centered. It is complicated but we have decided to give each other a chance. We will take it day by day.
