Heather has made it her life’s work to help individuals realize their full potential. Beginning her coaching journey as a weight loss coach, she quickly recognized that acceptance and healthy encouragement were the key ingredients to helping others achieve their goals. Her work with singles began in 2007. Since then, she has been dedicated to helping her clients surpass their relationship goals.

Initially working as a matchmaker, Heather swiftly advanced to leadership. In 2020, she became the first person at Love Life Academy to become certified by Dr. Terri Orbuch as a Science-Based Certified Dating and Relationship Coach. Heather collaborated closely with Dr. Orbuch to develop a proprietary coaching program for Love Life Academy that combines Dr. Orbuch’s extensive knowledge with Heather’s matchmaking expertise.

Heather has personally curated Love Life Academy’s team of coaches, emphasizing quality, empathy, and diverse perspectives. Her meticulous selection process has resulted in a well-balanced team who are capable of addressing a broad spectrum of coaching needs.

Heather is committed to creating an exceptional coaching experience, cultivating a talented coaching team, and ensuring the delivery of real, current, and proven materials to clients.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Heather’s personal passion lies in continuous personal growth. She is an avid podcast listener; her mornings usually feature tips for health from leading experts. Every day, Heather is dedicated to becoming healthier and stronger, both mentally and physically, even as she maintains her obsession with cheese, peanut butter, and chocolate (ideally in that order).

In 2014, Jess—whose legal name is Jessica, but please only call her that when she’s in trouble!—realized her need to work more directly with people, which launched her career as a professional matchmaker. With a proven track record of hand-selecting successful matches, she became enamored with helping her clients on a deeper level, shifting her attention to dating and relationship coaching.

Driven by a desire to understand the deeper motivations of her clients, Jess pursued additional education and became a Science-Based Certified Dating and Relationship Coach. She has been an integral part of the coaching team since its inception, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to her role.

Her approach involves offering healthy redirection, dedicating substantial time to sit with her clients, and asking thought-provoking questions. Jess sees each client as a unique human, emphasizing personal, direct communication. She encourages clients to view their goals holistically, treating themselves with the kindness they would extend to their best friend.

Jess specializes in coaching men. She understands that many men have learned to be reserved about their feelings. Her coaching style, characterized by confronting challenges head-on through playfulness and silliness, helps bring them out of their emotional shells, something she finds particularly rewarding.

Outside of coaching sessions, make sure to ask Jess about her love for Disney villains. Dawn is a highly empathetic coach whose journey in the dating and relationship industry began in 2007. Her extensive experience in the singles industry eventually led her to her true calling—empowering singles to thrive on their path to meaningful connections. Dawn recognized the importance of this guidance and support, and she has found her life’s purpose in working closely with clients on their journey of finding and maintaining healthy connections.

Dawn’s expertise lies in identifying what shapes us and influences our choices in relationships. She enjoys delving into the roots of her clients’ preferences, discussing healthy boundaries, and exploring the reasons behind our partner choices. Beyond her professional pursuits, Dawn’s heart beats to the rhythm of music. It’s her favorite thing in the whole wide world, adding immense joy to her life. She loves to dance and sing, even if she admits she’s not the best at it. Dawn’s eclectic taste embraces all genres, with a special fondness for funky, fun beats that compel her to get up and dance.

Theresa is a dynamic coach whose professional journey started as a certified matchmaker. Working with singles on their matchmaking journey ignited a passion for helping her clients break free from anything hindering meaningful connections. Through coaching, she effortlessly guides clients to open up, discover their potential, and enjoy the journey.

Nancy is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of customer service experience who transitioned her career to become a certified dating and relationship coach. Initially recruited for a matchmaking role at a high-end service, Nancy discovered her passion for connecting people and helping them navigate relationships.

As a certified matchmaker, Nancy’s innate listening skills and empathy made her a trusted confidante for clients facing relationship challenges. Driven by this passion, she furthered her skills by becoming a Certified Science-Based Dating and Relationship Coach under Dr. Terri Orbuch’s guidance. Recognizing Nancy’s talents, Dr. Orbuch personally recommended her to join the Love Life Academy team.

Nancy’s distinctive approach involves helping her clients separate their past experiences from their potential, thus helping them discover their true selves. She thrives in helping clients learn to be secure in who they are, breaking through boundaries and fostering healthy relationships. Nancy’s areas of expertise include attachment styles, pattern identification, and core needs.

Nancy isn’t just a coach—she’s also a lover of adventure. During a trip to Paris, she extended her stay and ventured on an impromptu solo trip across Europe! She credits her adventurous spirit for solidifying her understanding of community, self-care, and friendships.

As a coach, Lisa is driven by personal development and relationships. Lisa has devoted her life to helping her clients become their best selves. Beginning her journey as a Certified Life Coach in 2020, she later became certified in Science-Based Dating and Relationship Coaching.
