My apologies for taking so long to reply.  I have been sick with a bad cold and finally feel well enough to take some time to write you.  You’ve asked me to say a few things about the qualities I like about Bill (he prefers to be called Bill) and a review of my experiences with matchmaker.

I have, in general, enjoyed working with you.  From my first interview to my conversations with Donni, and then Ashlee, the experience has been a good one.  Everyone I have had contact with has been friendly and encouraging, trying to meet my needs and look out for my interests.  Because you, Ashlee, were the person I spoke to most often, I want you to know you made me feel like my goals were important to you, and I think you did the best job you could helping me meet my goals.  I also am pleased to say how kind and pleasant you have been to speak with.  I know I called you at least one time when I just wanted you to listen to me and you were gracious and considerate.  I am thankful for your listening skills, Ashlee.

As for Bill, he has been a surprise as he is not who I would have chosen for myself.  My favorite thing about Bill is how comfortable he is being himself.  That refreshing quality has enabled me to enjoy getting to know him.  He also seems to understand himself very well and surprises me often with his profoundly wise comments.  He cares deeply about his family; his kids and grandkids.  He genuinely enjoys them and has a real interest in their welfare.  Finally, I have a lot of fun with him.  He makes me laugh.  Out loud!  It is nice to have so much fun as we get to know each other.

I am looking forward to the coming weeks and months as I get to know more and more about Bill.  I’ll keep you posted on our progress.
