When my wife passed away after 24 years of marriage, I felt all alone for the first time in my life. Since I don’t have much of a social life, I was more than willing to hire a professional matchmaker to meet others. My friends thought that this was silly, but I was impressed by your system of matching me with what I both liked and disliked in a person, and then fine tuning it after the first date. I was so nervous on my first date since I did not know what to expect. I thought that the date would last maybe 15 minutes or 30 at the most, but we ended up talking for 2 hours.

She was good for my soul since she gave me the self-confidence to be myself. You and my daughter advised me that I should continue to see her as a friend. I have this old-fashioned belief that I would be unfaithful if I dated or met more than one girl at a time.

Your advice makes too much sense because what I really want is someone who I can share my life rather than a love connection. I have plenty of guy friends but need a girlfriend to make my life feel complete. Per your advice, I will ask her out again if she is willing and trust your judgment on who else might be compatible as a friend. At this point in my life, I am not looking for a love connection or marriage. I just need a friend to share my life. Thank you for finding someone who checks all my likes and dislikes. This is your talent. If we were back in elementary school, you would get 5 stars on your forehead. Lol. Thank you Jesse.
